DISTURBING NEWS REGARDING POWER OF ATTORNEY’s PROCESSING IN KOSOVO IP OFFICE Kindly be informed that from June 10th 2016, based to email notification dated 8 June issued from IPO reception, the IPO will not accept any longer Power of attorney’s without certification from a local Kosovo notary. This has blocked all filing process in IPO due to the fact that: * Notification is not according to Law and regulations in force in Kosovo. * It is extended to all documents including annuities, issuing of Certificates, Extracts, searches etc., where the Law precise that for these acts no new PoA is necessary at all! * It is extended to already filed PoA’s general or not even that the notary service is available in Kosovo from May 2013, and PoA are older! * The so-called notification entered in force within 24 hours and the filing without PoA is not accepted any more, including new trademark applications. Finally is notified that due to pressure a new administrative regulation will be issued soon. However due to controversial situation the issuing is delayed.
